Why Natural Indigo?
Indigo is one of nature's most beautiful blue dyes. Lanna people have been using indigo to dye fabric for hundreds of years. The beauty of indigo lies in its depth — each successive dip creates a richer, more dimensional blue.

What You'll Need
1. Natural indigo powder 2. Lime 3. Brown sugar 4. Dye vat 5. Natural cotton fabric
The Process
Start by mixing indigo powder with lime and brown sugar in a 1:1:1 ratio. Dissolve in warm water, stir well, and let it ferment for 3-5 days until the liquid turns yellowish-green, indicating it's ready.

Submerge your fabric in the vat for 15-20 minutes. Remove and air-dry. As the fabric meets oxygen, the color transforms from green to blue. Repeat 5-8 times for a deep, rich indigo.
